Qualified from the United Kingdom with Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and FRCSEd (Tr&Orth) in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery and Fellowship Training in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery from Calgary, Canada.

Dr. Sukeik specialises in the fields of hip and knee surgery, performing joint replacement, arthroscopies and trauma surgery in general.

Dr. Sukeik completed his medical training with Honours degree at Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey and residency in orthopaedic surgery on the prestigious Royal London Rotation in London, United Kingdom training at the Royal London Hospital, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and University College London Hospital. During his residency, he completed an MD Research degree at University College London on management of infections after hip and knee replacement surgery. Following residency, he completed a year of advanced fellowship training in primary complex and revision hip and knee replacement surgeries, the direct anterior approach for hip replacement and hip resurfacing surgeries in Calgary, Canada.

He was awarded a number of prestigious fellowships visiting centres of excellence including the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, The Rothman Institute in Philadelphia and The Helios Endo-Klinik in Hamburg.

A strong research background in hip, knee and trauma surgery, Dr. Sukeik has authored over 45 peer-reviewed publications and delivered over 100 presentations at national and international conferences. He has been recognised with multiple awards by the British Orthopaedic Association and international societies for his academic accomplishments. He is the Past Chairman of the Young Surgeons Committee of the International Society of Orthopaedic surgery and Traumatology (SICOT). He serves as the Associate Editor of SICOT J journal and is on the editorial board of a number of other journals. He has an award in Clinical Education from the University of Warwick and has been invited to lecture on a number of specialist postgraduate hip and knee courses as well as leadership and education both in the United Kingdom and abroad.
